She’s just a smol girl with big opinions!
They say that dogs eventually turn into their owners, but what if the opposite were true?
Now that Lauren Edwards has entered her 40’s, she finds herself identifying less with the thoughtful, demure middle-aged woman she imagined she’d be, and more with a bossy, short-haired chihuahua who’s scared of the vacuum cleaner and likes to yell at strangers.
‘Chihuahua’ is 55 minutes of being a yappy little b*tch. From the Love Languages to Facebook admins and defending the pick-pocketing industry, like her dog, Lauren Edwards has got strong eyebrows, short legs and a lot to say.

Rob Newman doesn’t waste time. He started stand-up at 60 and brings raw, unfiltered comedy that destroys fear and lights a fire under your complacent arse. This isn’t safe, sanitized comedy. It’s a wake-up call from someone who knows time is precious and bullshit worrying is pointless. Newman delivers hard-earned wisdom wrapped in relentless humor that transforms how you think about living while there’s still time. No medical symposium or pity party – just authentic comedy that finds the punchlines in life’s biggest challenges. His unique perspective creates a show that’s simultaneously hilarious and genuinely life-changing. “Book now,” Newman warns with a wry smile. “I may not make it to the second night. No refunds.” Limited season. Don’t die wondering.
Marine biologist and comedian Forrest gives a voice to the ocean—and it has notes.
Pollution, overfishing, climate change and plastic are just a few of the ways humans have managed to trash Earth’s most important ecosystem. Forrest breaks down how we got here and why the ocean has every right to be annoyed. But it’s not all doom. There’s extraordinary life hanging on beneath the waves; and actions can slow, even reverse, some damage.
With standup, multimedia and audience trivia—delivered with a healthy dose of dark humour—you’ll laugh, learn, and walk out feeling more in awe of the ocean… and more aware that while it may not be our biggest fan, it’s worth fighting for.
Forrest has appeared on Conan, Live at Gotham and Jim Jefferies & Friends. His comedy special Poor Decisions is on Amazon.
Join sharp-witted New Zealand comedian Nicola Brown for a hilarious, award-winning odyssey featuring giant crocheted organs, pelvic pandemonium, and romance scammers who’ve failed to notice how gay she is.
Bold, honest and uplifting, this is comedy for anyone whose body (or inbox) has ever gone rogue. Part stand-up, part social commentary, ‘Space Invaders’ boldly goes where no comedian has gone before – inner space – to expose the absurdity, beauty and chaos of modern life. Prepare to be (pelvic) floored.

John Peacock a Gen X comedian. He lives in Byron Bay, a town made cool by The Boomers and now the domain of Zoomers, Influencers, Baristas who can’t afford to live there and Millennials waiting for their inheritance. A tubby white man in his 50’s comparing himself to Mahatma Gandhi. Torn between being the change he wants to see in the World and changing the World he wants to be seen in. There’s a part of him happy enough to think less of you and move on.
The different generations, how we react to each other, and find our place. Highlighting the peculiarities of each generation and the extremely convoluted, ridiculous situations we have to try and negotiate on a daily basis.
If you find the World a bit confusing this is the show for you. If you have it all worked out come along and gloat.
My whole life I’ve been useless, broke…and now I’m adding sterile to the list. Having a kid is off the table, so here’s a show instead!
Comedian Nick Capper is a cult favourite on the Australian comedy circuit, having toured across the country, and cemented himself as a regular in the festival scene. Times are rough out there. Have you seen the news? So let’s dance. Group dancing makes our brains and bodies unbelievably happy. Dance Club is the ultimate feel good experience. That’s not frivolous. That’s science. In the air con of The Howling Owl we will fumble our way through a fun dance routine. Then, before you’ve had a chance to catch your breath and think “hey, what are we doing…?” You’ll be outside regaling passers by with your sensational moves and a retro flashmob. Come live out your latent Rock Eisteddfod dreams with this welcoming, no dance experience necessary, bucket list experience in a room full of new friends. Wear comfy clothes and prepare for one heck of an adrenaline rush and a dopamine spike all at once. All ages welcome. If you like to move, this is for you.

It’s a TISM front man and comedy icon’s electro-banger duo. In the grand tradition of Groove Armada, Daft Punk, The Presets and Barlow and Chambers, Damian Cowell, the guy who pretends to be the singer of TISM and comedy royalty Tony Martin, knob twiddle their way into your nervous system. They bumped into each other in Damian Cowell’s Disco Machine and Tony Martin’s Sizzletown and now the world’s oldest ravers are colliding in a full-on electroclash.
What can you expect from brains that gave you TISM, The Late Show, Martin Molloy and Get This?
Beatz with a ‘Z’ plus reprehensibly flippant lyrics about life’s terrors.
Cowell and Martin sing, dance, do that widdly thing on their cheap synths and embody the ancient philosophy of Fosagawi.
Make sure you’re sorted for Es, Wizz and Metamucil.
Tom Cashman is back in Adelaide with a new hour of stand-up that promises to creep ever so close to proficiency. You may know Tom from Taskmaster or TikTok or from his show descriptions which usually end very abru
