Come and live in the moment and have a big ol’ laugh with Sonia Di Iorio!
But who is she? Having performed stand-up for over 15 years, Sonia is a seasoned comedian who has made her mark on stages across the country.
She has opened for Ronny Chieng, performed at Splendour in the Grass and appeared on ‘The Roast of Tommy Little’. In 2017 she won the peer voted Spleen Comic of The Year, in 2018 she began writing for some of the country’s top TV comedy shows and in 2025 she began performing stand-up in Italian! (This show is in English)
Right Here, Right Now is about trying to live in the moment while navigating chronic pain, relationships and a weird and wonderful career.

Alexei Toliopoulos simply adores cinema, films, movies and the techniques filmmakers use to elicit emotions from an audience. He has sacrificed everything to be one of the most respected movie minds in the country. Pop the tape into the VCR and join Alexei as he takes you on an adventure in movie watching, charting through the genre films that made him the tragic film obsessive he was destined to become.
You know Alexei from Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont-Spelling Bee, The Cheap Seats, Question Everything, The Weekly, his comedy investigations FINDING DRAGO/FINDING YEEZUS, his podcast THE LAST VIDEO STORE and from last year’s festival hit REFUSED CLASSIFICATION with Zachary Ruane.

I told my manager I wanted to write a show about dead dogs, and she said “oh god” but that’s not really my problem, it’s her job to market it. This show isn’t sad, you will leave feeling good. I promise. Thinking about asking my vet for a refund on the euthanasia just to see what happens.
She’s back and she is FULLY CHARGED! After selling out shows and leaving audiences in stitches across the globe, Vanessa Larry Mitchell is back with ‘Teardrops on My Dildo: Fully Charged‘. The unapologetic high-voltage sequel to her breakout debut dives even deeper into the chaos of love, lust and all round loose-ness. Armed with a sharp tongue and thirsty mind, Vanessa brings her trademark mixture of sincerity to savagery to the stage. Expect confessions that will make our mum blush and leave your core sore. This isn’t just stand-up; it’s stand-up therapy for the emotionally overworked and sexually underwhelmed.

A show about love, culture, marriage, dating and the immigrant experience from your favourite brown boy Suraj (Apple TV, Netflix).
With a magnetic stage presence, hilarious observations and captivating storytelling that has sold out shows & collected 10M+ views online, this multi award-winning comedian consistently keeps audiences in stitches.
Suraj expertly takes you on the roller-coaster of love in this joyous celebration of interracial relationships and the foibles that go with marrying into a different culture. Maybe we’ll all walk away knowing a bit more about each other (or we’ll find new ways to win arguments, either way).

‘Hilarious. Self-deprecating humour, love of wordplay & observations… A hidden gem.’ Scenestr
Hello I am Greg and I weigh more than 99 percent of all performers at this festival, so in terms of dollars spent per kilo you are already saving HUGE amounts by coming to see me.
I’ve won awards and stuff but who cares. What matters is that I am big and funny and I want to spend time with YOU. In any case I hope you buy a ticket and watch me grub around and get mucky.
If you are a real estate agent or you own one of those Ford Raptors then don’t come. You are banned.
A dynamic return to form from this BARREL of MONKEYS and MUSICAL SCOUNDRELS.
PAUL McDERMOTT and GLENN ‘The Bear’ MOORHOUSE are taking one last trip around the dance floor, one final glance back at the years of joy and laughter they’ve created.
This season brings to a close over 40 years of servitude and sacrifice to the Comedy Gods.
This is THE END, my friends.
‘Farewell’ is a loving ode to a life well lived, a long goodbye to performance, stagecraft and to a wild grift of narcissism and self-absorption masquerading as art.
The most beautiful voice (in the sub-genre of aggressive Australian musical comedy) is packing it in.
“We will leave the arena while we still at the top of our game. The future is a desolate highway and one best walked alone.”
Join us for THE FIRST FAREWELL.
Welcome to The Cave.
What is The Cave? Well, you’ll have to come to find out.
Does Abby know what The Cave is? Oh yeah, don’t worry about that.
The Cave is funny (hopefully hahahah)
The Cave is nice, I reckon come on in.
The Cave is presented by Abby Howells. Abby is best known for coming last on season five of Taskmaster NZ, but she gave it a really good go. She won NZ comedy’s prestigious Billy T Award in 2023 and can also be seen on Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee, 7 Days and Conan O’Brien Must Go.

When Liam was 18, he moved from Dagenham to Edinburgh and didn’t tell his parents.

Liam has over 10 million TikTok/Instagram views and his 2023 Edinburgh Fringe show ‘Chronic Boom’ was a sellout success, receiving widespread critical acclaim and racking up sixteen 4 and 5 star reviews, making it one of the best reviewed comedy shows of that year.

The poster looks like Chinese propaganda, the title’s a Vietnamese pun, and I’m Chinese. None of it makes sense — and that’s kind of the point. You Pho Real is a bowl of contradictions left to simmer too long — a mix of “good intentions” that, when combined, look suspiciously like a manifesto.
It’s about juggling identities, expectations, and experiences that don’t fit. Ever had a doctor call you out for having a fat neck? Or lose weight because your dog’s fat? Exactly. Make it make sense.
It’s confusion served hot, garnished with trauma, and topped with a slice of “Is this for real?” It’s funny until it’s not — then it’s even funnier. A series of jokes that make as much sense as the poster.
Welcome to the contradiction buffet.
