Steve Sheehan is an actor who got into stand up comedy after training with a teacher called Philippe Gaulier – who also taught Sacha Baron Cohen of Ali G fame. He mixes his stand up with theatre sometimes like in his recent show Stevl Shefn and His Translator Fatima.
He has been part of the Adelaide comedy scene since 2002 and is a regular at the Adelaide Fringe. He’s a bit hit and miss – sometimes he’s just terrible. But occasionally it comes together and his shaggy-dog story kind of style makes you laugh.
He was National RAW comedy winner in 2003 and was won Best Comedy by an Established Comedian at the 2010 Adelaide Fringe Festival. He is Moosehead recipient for the 2010 Melbourne Comedy Festival with his Stevl Shefn show.
