Hawaiian comic Kehau Jackson has been a staple on the South Australian comedy scene since her arrival in Adelaide in 2002. She has entertained corporate, sports and comedy club audiences across Australia. A regular performer at the Adelaide Fringe festival, she was a founding member of “Titters!” an all-female comedy showcase that won the 2007 People’s Choice award and gone on to become a Fringe staple. In 2011, she co-starred in the Fringe hit, “Three Stuffed Mums” with fellow ‘Titters!‘ cast mates, comics Kate Burr and Maggie Wood. The show surprised and delighted stand up comedy fans with t! he addition of original songs and music written by the cast. The “Mums” enjoyed sold out shows and great reviews and was nominated for another People’s Choice award, one of only five shows out of the 745 in the festival to do so. The show has started touring, and an extended stage version of the original “Three Stuffed Mums” is currently in the works. Besides performing, Kehau also produces comedy shows at clubs and venues around Adelaide and in country SA. She is a regular on the comedy circuit, and can be heard as a recurring guest on ABC 891 with Peter Goers.
