On paper, Georgie Carrol (UK) has many things that make her sound like a grown up. In reality, most other grown ups agree that Georgie puts very little effort in to being one of them. She moved to South Australia in 2009 because she has a policy of saying yes to everything, and because her husband asked her to when she was drunk. This is kind of how she ended up married with kids too.
She took up comedy in 2010 because she loves adrenaline rushes but was far too lazy to take up adrenaline sports like planking or ding dong dash. Georgie didn’t really know how much effort was involved when she started to write stand up, and feels a little disillusioned as writing takes her away from her other passions of sleeping and watching Judge Judy. However she bloody loves that bit where you get to stand on stage and make people laugh. Nice girl, great accent, what more could you want.
