A quirky comedian with an odd perspective, Rob Hunter has performed all around Australia and the UK, has appeared multiple times on the Comedy Channel and has written professionally for ABC’s Spicks and Specks, ABC Radio and Rove.
With a highly intelligent and uniquely appealing style, Rob has won or been nominated for numerous national comedy awards, all the while maintaining the rare ability to appeal to a crowd using clean, yet edgy material.
Also an accomplished festival performer, Rob’s solo shows have received both audience and critical acclaim at the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, resulting in multiple outstanding reviews, sold-out shows and award nominations including the Golden Gibbo Award for best independent show at the 2009 MICF.
As well as Australia-wide touring, Rob has also performed in London and at the world’s premier comedy festival – the Edinburgh Fringe – including multiple appearances at the Phat Cave, Spank, and the highly regarded and infamous Late ‘N’ Live alongside the world’s best comedians.
He is a different yet still very accessible comedian.
