Edward Kuhne is an unlicensed comedian, and has been for quite a while.
He’s a lone wolf, unmarried, getting middle twenties and not rich. He’s been in jail more than once and he doesn’t do divorce material. He likes liquor and women and chess and a few other things.
The cops don’t like him too well, but he knows a couple he gets along with. He’s a native son, born in the Queen Elizabeth, both parents dead, no brothers or sisters, and when he dies in a dingy club sometime, as it could happen to anyone in his business, nobody will feel that the bottom has dropped out of his or her life.
You could offer him a dollar but he wouldn’t take it. You could offer to buy him the works of Raymond Chandler. He’d tell you he already has them.
